It is the edition of records, with more than 650.000 people that have visited, in the beautiful surroundings of the Parco del Valentino, in Turin, the “Salone dell’Auto” motor show.
This second edition, staged from 8th to 12th June 2016, has been a real open – air salon. Fans and families have had the chance to admire the cars from the 10 to the 24, always with free access.
The Salone dell’Auto President, Andrea Levy, showed sincere satisfaction after the first two days of the motor show: "In these first two days of the Salone dell’Auto is great to see the interaction between visitors and cars in a spontaneous, relaxed and very interesting manner."
Great success have enjoyed the presentations of premieres unveiled to the press Wednesday the 8th like the new Abarth 595, the Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli, the 400 km/h hypercar or the one off of basic Tesla Model S P90D.
While the elite of design celebrated the winners of the Car Design Award, the fans could enjoy the great novelty of this edition: the test drive area, an area that visitors and fans stormed with their booking requests. The most in demand? The new Alfa Romeo Giulia.
Saturday the 11th has been the day of the Parco Valentino Grand Prix, a walkway with limited editions and supercar owned by collectors from around the world while, at the same time, in the courtyard of the Castello del Valentino BMW officially was giving the go to the Italian celebrations of the Centenary of BMW Group and the fiftieth anniversary of BMW Italy.
This spectacular car display was opened to the public on Sunday the 12th, up to 24, when it also ended the second edition of the International “Salone dell’Auto” motor show in Turin, Parco del Valentino.
